History
Four Generations of Timber
2006 - Starting out in specialised timber supply, Halswell Timber Nelson Ltd was founded by Peter and Barbara Stuart, with the energy of son and daughter duo Matthew and Alice Stuart.
2012 - Jason and Alice Douglas bought the business and continued expanding machining capabilities.
2015 - Russ Sawmilling in Appleby was purchased, adding to supply chain control.
2016 - A move from Tahunanui to Richmond brought with it the additional product lines of GluLam, LVL, and H3.1 LOSP treatment. This gave way to the HTL branded trade name, focused on supplying merchant trade stores across NZ with specialised engineered wood products.
